Skillshare Coming To Portland!

Skillshare’s mission is to unlock the learning potential of cities across the country (and, eventually, the world!), and we can’t think of a better place to go next than Portland!

Here’s a lil’ teaser of the knowledge you can now amass: Launch Your Startup Idea for Less than $1,000, Etsy 101: Keys to Selling Online, and Social Media for Makers.

So what now?

1. Sign up to be notified of new classes. Sign up with your email and  Portland area code to be notified of new Portland classes every Wednesday! While you’re at it, get inspired by the Skillshare manifesto.

2. Launch Party. Come celebrate and help spread the word on September 18th! RSVP here.

3. Teach Anything. It’s incredibly easy to create a listing for a workshop on anything you like, from designing a website to knitting, and teach it to the Portland  community. Check out Skillshare.com/teach for tons of helpful tips and resources for creating your class.

4. Recommend Teachers and Venues. If you know anyone who you think should teach or host classes on anything from knitting to raising money for a startup, please email helena@skillshare.com and we’ll do our best to get them involved.
